     Siempre ha sido importante para el estudio involucrar el sitio en donde se sitúa el proyecto. Casa Tepepan no es la excepción ya que un árbol, el cual había sido impactado por un rayo, aún permanece arraigado en el predio convirtiéndose en el eje central del diseño. Éste influencia directamente la disposición de sólidos y vacíos en el volumen general, creando patios que fortalecen la conexión entre el interior y el exterior.
    Al interior, se buscó optimizar la funcionalidad de la vivienda al acomodar los servicios en los laterales del proyecto. Esta disposición no solo garantiza una conexión a lo largo de la planta baja, sino que también establece un equilibrio armonioso entre los distintos espacios. Es importante mencionar que la sección fue una herramienta directa en el proceso de diseño ya que era importante preservar la lectura y la simetría, proporcionando al mismo tiempo el juego de sólidos y vacíos mencionados anteriormente.
    La elección de materiales juega un papel fundamental en la identidad de la casa, donde la piedra integra el contexto y lo lleva al interior de la casa. Al igual, la selección de materiales no solo ancla la residencia a su contexto geográfico, sino que también refleja la conexión profunda de los propietarios con la naturaleza circundante.
    La combinación de espacios interiores y exteriores resulta en un hogar de equilibrio, ofreciendo una experiencia espacial, interna y natural.

    It has always been important for the studio to engage with the site where the project is located. Casa Tepepan is no exception, as a tree, which had been struck by lightning, still remains rooted in the property, became the central axis of the design. It directly influences the arrangement of solids and voids in the overall volume, creating courtyards that strengthen the connection between the interior and exterior.
    Internally, efforts were made to optimize the functionality of the residence by placing services on the sides of the project. This arrangement not only ensures a connection throughout the ground floor but also establishes a harmonious balance between different spaces. It is worth mentioning that the section was a direct tool in the design process, as it was important to preserve readability and symmetry while simultaneously providing the display of solids and voids mentioned earlier.
    The materials’ choice played a fundamental role in the identity of the house, where stone integrates the context and brings it into the interior of the house. Similarly, the material selection not only anchors the residence to its geographical context but also reflects the owners’ deep connection with the surrounding nature.
    The combination of interior and exterior spaces results in a balanced home, offering a spatial, internal, and natural experience.
